USE OF LOG FILES

xByte Hosting does NOT share any personal information with any outside company except as outlined here:
I. SSL Certificates - Certain information must be provided to the certificate issuing authority responsible for issuing your website's SSL certificate. This information will vary based on the type of certificate and at a minimum requires an email address to receive approval for the certificate. For EV certificates, the certificate issuing authority requires email, company name, address, phone and reliable contact information.
II. Credit/Payment Card Processors - xByte Hosting uses a credit/payment card processing company to bill users for goods and services received. xByte Hosting only passes the necessary information to the credit card processor which includes the name, card number, expiration date and billing zip code. xByte Hosting does NOT forward any personally identifiable information to these card processing companies.
III. Domain Registration/Transfer - Domain Registrars require domain ownership information before a new domain can be registered. xByte Hosting is required to provide the domain owner information to our Domain Registrars. NOTE: xByte Hosting recommends adding Domains Whois Privacy protection so that your information is not made public.
xByte Hosting will comply with State and Federal law and therefore comply with lawful requests. When allowed, xByte Hosting will notify customers of such requests.
Mail delivery services - xByte Hosting may use your personal information to send you direct marketing and day-to-day communication.

Depending on your jurisdiction of residence, you may have the data protection right to access, correct, update, or to request deletion of your personal information.

When paying by Credit Card, upon initial payment, you will be required to enter the CVV code for the card. We do NOT store this code. This is only requested once. The card itself is encrypted and stored for your security.

AMENDMENTS
xByte Hosting may need to update this Privacy Policy. When updates occur, we will date those changes on this page as well as update the last modified date so that the Customer can stay aware of information we collect, how we utilize it, and if under any circumstances we disclose it. If at any point xByte Hosting decides to use personally identifiable information (PII) in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify users by way of an email. Users will have a choice as to whether we use their information in this different manner. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.
ACCEPTANCE OF THIS POLICY
